Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my hoodie last me?
One Big Hoodie is made from thick long stem organic cotton with reinforced stitching. With proper care (washing in cold water and hang drying) it will last you years and years. Our hope is that you will be able to keep your hoodie for a decade or more.
Can I put my hoodie in the drier?
Remember that tumble drying reduces the life span of any clothing, so if you have to do it use the lowest heat setting.
What's special about organic cotton?
You're eating it, so why should you care about organic textiles? Non-organic farming can lead to water contamination, resistance to insecticides, reduced biodiversity, soil degredation, and can leave chemical residues on clothing. Organic farming uses sensible crop rotation, harnesses natural water and monsoons, does not use synthetic fertilisers and pesticides, and is hand picked, prolonging the life of cotton plants. All around a better choice!
What dyes do you use?
We use GOTS certified dyes and do fabric dying for superior colour-fastedness.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
We do ship outside of the UK, but each hoodie weighs 2.2kg so shipping is not cheap. If you want a custom quote feel free to get in touch!
